PDO ThreadLift in Fargo

Women and men are no longer left as facelifts as their only option to correct facial skin laxity. The PDO ThreadLift is one of the most effective non-surgical treatments to correct loose facial skin. The PDO ThreadLift (polydioxanone) consist of absorbable threads that are used for skin tightening and making new collagen. Age and the effects of gravity over time cause the skin to lose its laxity, creating unwanted wrinkles, lines, and creases. These effects can add years to a person’s appearance. PDO ThreadLifts were created to provide visibly lifted results without a surgical procedure. With the PDO ThreadLift, patients can receive quick, natural, and beneficial results that shed years off of their appearance.

What are PDO Threads?

The PDO ThreadLift treatment is one of the most commonly performed skin lifting procedure for livting and smoothing the face, neck, forehead, and other areas of the body. PDO Theads involve polydioxanone sutures that are inserted under the skin providing a lifting and smoothing effect. Rejuv’s experienced PDO ThreadLift Specialist uses a variety of thread lengths and configurations to provide a wide range of treatment options, giving our patients the natural results they are looking for.

How do PDO Threads work?

The PDO ThreadLift uses synthetic hypodermic needles preloaded with a PDO absorbable suture, used for skin tightening and creating new collagen for the lifting of the soft tissues of the skin and body. Your skin fully absorbs the PDO thread within 4 to 6 months without any scar tissue. There are different types of PDO threads, including smooth or barbed. The choice of thread will be determined based on the condition of the skin and the needs of the patient. While the sutures are underneath the skin, your skin gently reacts to repair itself and create new collagen naturally. Depending on the patient’s body and the metabolism of their skin, the longevity of the sutures will vary, typically about four to six months before being fully dissolved. Patients can expect the best results to be seen around 4 to 6 weeks.
