Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue
Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue has saved over 1,700 starving and freezing dogs from 2014-2017 in North Dakota. They are a grass roots rescue operated by the few core people scattered throughout North Dakota. This small group of volunteers have no shelter or steady stream of funds, they work out of their homes, cars and garages to save lives. TMAR does not adopt or keep the dogs they rescue long term, they are simply the first responders, the boots on the ground who will go out and rescue the most vulnerable and forgotten.
